Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy

  • All our desserts are baked on order and we do not accept any returns. Refunds, credit, or a replacement order of the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect/ damaged product. Should this be the case, or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition of your order upon receiving the same, you must contact us within 30 minutes of receipt of such an order.
  • Ode To Gaia will not accept liability for any complaints made after the duration mentioned hereinabove. In the event of an unsatisfactory order, you must return the item to us for inspection, or provide us with sufficient photographic evidence.
  • We offer monetary refunds based on our internal checks and policies of claims made against orders in highly selective cases only. However, we will analysis each complaint on merits and provide suitable resolutions. For order cancellations for issues attributable to you, we will provide you with a store credit which needs to be utilized within 2 months from the date of the credit note/voucher.
  • All our desserts are crafted using excellent quality ingredients, many of which are sourced sustainably and have fair trade certification. The ingredients we use are essential to the values of our business and to the taste of our clients. Since taste is subjective to personal preferences, we cannot provide refunds if the desserts are not to your liking.
  • Please go through our dessert care and storage section and FAQ section thoroughly. Should there be any issues due to mishandling or improper care post-delivery, Ode To Gaia is not responsible and no refunds or exchanges will be issued.

  • Cancellation and charges against cancellation is as follows:
Order cancelled 72- 48 hours prior to delivery/pick up 80% refund/credit note
Order cancelled 24 hours prior to delivery/pick up 50% refund/credit note
Order cancelled within 24 hours of delivery/pick up 0% refund/credit note
Order cancelled post order being ready for pick up/delivery 0% refund/credit note
  • Refunds/replacements against damaged/wrong product
  • Prior to offering refunds/replacement we will endeavour to do our best to rectify damaged products or replace incorrect orders.
  • Please note, we recommend all our products are kept chilled after delivery until 20 mins prior to consumption. Please read our dessert cake and storage instructions to understand when and how best to enjoy our desserts.
Wrong product sent 100% refund/credit note or no cost replacement
Damage during transit by Ode to Gaia and product is consumed and informed to us as per clauses above 50% refund/credit note
Damage during transit by Ode to Gaia and product is returned as per clauses above 100% refund/credit note or no cost replacement
Damage during transit not informed to An Ode to Gaia as per clauses above 0% refund
Damage notified within 30 mins by customer but established as customers error after checks and internal policies 0% refund
Delivery Noticed 30 mints after Delivery 0% refund

Cancellation by Ode To Gaia:

  • Under certain circumstances it may not be possible for us to accept an order and we may be compelled to cancel the same. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason at our sole discretion.
  • Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include limitations on ingredient quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department.
  • We may also ask for additional verification or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order.
  • If there is a mutually agreed cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances on our end, the said amount will be refunded to your account within 15 working days.
  • The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by Ode To Gaia and accepts Ode To Gaia’s decision regarding the cancellation.
